Data Clearinghouse

Jin Man Lee comes to the Data Clearinghouse as the research director.  In Jin’s new role, he will manage the database and servers.  He earned his Ph.D. in economics from the University of Illinois at Chicago and worked at UIC in the economics department as Senior Economic Research Specialist and Adjunct Assistant Professor.  Responsibilities included database and server administration, including work with several large data sets. Juliana Gonzalez-Crussi is the new Senior Housing Analyst at the Data Clearinghouse.  Juliana will be working with housing and neighborhood organizations in data collection and in web site design.  She previously worked as Director of Housing for the Illinois Migrant Council, where she managed a rental subsidy program and provided educational programs and technical assistance statewide.  Juliana can be reached at (312) 362-5974 or by email at jgonzal3@depaul.edu.


Cook County Assessor's Office

Max Eisenburger has been selected as the new Affordable Housing Specialist with the Cook County Assessor’s Office.  Max will be addressing issues related to affordable housing, including researching, analyzing and evaluating property tax assessments on for-sale and rental affordable housing projects.  The Cook County Assessor’s Office is the first and only assessor’s office in a major jurisdiction to have a unit dedicated to issues related to affordable housing.

 

Max is a 2005 graduate of Cornell University and is expected to receive his Masters Degree in Urban Planning and Policy from the University of Illinois-Chicago in Spring, 2008.  Prior to joining the Cook County Assessor’s Office, Max was an intern at American Planning Association and a teaching assistant with the College of Urban Planning and Public Administration at the University of Illinois-Chicago.
