The Preservation Compact brings together the region's public, private and nonprofit leaders to address the loss of affordable rental housing stock in Cook County.
Guided by the Urban Land Institute (ULI) Chicago with support from The John D. and Catherine T. MacArthur Foundation, Preservation Compact partners include the Center for Neighborhood Technology, Chicago Community Loan Fund, Chicago Department of Community Development, Chicago Rehab Network, Community Investment Corporation (CIC), Cook County Assessor's Office, Illinois Housing Development Authority (IHDA), The Institute for Housing Studies at DePaul University, Local Initiatives Support Corporation/Chicago (LISC/Chicago), Sargent Shriver National Center on Poverty Law, and the U.S. Department of Housing and Urban Development.
